Fireworks Q&A

Did you know that there are approximately 18,500 fires caused by fireworks each 4th of July?  We honor our independence with celebration and we do not want to ever lose that tradition.  That is why it is important to keep it safe and ensure our friends and family have fun and enjoy the celebrations across our nation.  Here are a few tips if you decide to put together your own light show.

- A sparkler remains hot long after the flame has gone out.  Avoid a burn by dropping sparklers into a bucket of water after use.

- Don't allow kids to pick up pieces of fireworks after an event. They may still be ignited and can explode at any time.

- Avoid buying fireworks that are packaged in brown paper. This is often a sign that they were made for professionals displays and could pose a danger to consumers.

From SERVPRO of Ravenswood's family to yours, we wish you a very happy 4th of July!!

The Answer to the quiz is E - All of the Above!
