Flooded lounge area in Chicago, IL
The lounge area at The Standard Club located north of Chicago's Printer Row Neighborhood in IL was flooded due to an overfilling of the pool. The carpet had to be extracted by a truck mount extractor and a wand connected to the extractor by a long hose. The furniture was placed on furniture blocks so that the legs wouldn't bleed/discolor the light carpeting. The carpeting was dried in place by a dehumidifier and air movers placed strategically through out the lounge area forming a cyclone of air. Carpeting looks brighter then what it was originally and the management was very happy at the fast turn around.
