Smoke Damage in the Homan Square Neighborhood in Chicago, IL

A commercial building in the Homan Square Neighborhood in Chicago caught on fire and affected the next door neighbor, an ice delivery company. The fire caused smoke damage to the entire office and warehouse area. SERVPRO was called to do the clean-up in a fast and orderly fashion so that the business can get back to their everyday activities. Air scrubbers were set up to start cleaning the air while the technicians dry sponged every single surface starting from top to bottom. After the dry sponging was complete all the surface were wiped down with special soot cleaner. The company went on with their business as if nothing had even happened.
