Mold Damage in Schiller Park, IL

This home in Schiller Park IL was affected by mold after it had water damage to the residence.  It doesn’t take much for mold to grow.  All it needs is a food source which usually it is drywall.  It also needs a little bit of time and warm temperature.  After SERVPRO started removing the paneling off the wall the mold was visible on the drywall.  The area had to be contained by using heavy plastic and tension posts.  Air scrubber had to be implemented to clean out the air while the workers removed and double bagged the affected drywall.  The area was treated with a mold killer and finally dried.  The homeowner was happy that we found out what was lurking behind the paneling.
